La Ruina in Gorgona

The history of La Ruina in Gorgona is a work in progress. The best way to know is through the experience. Feeling the charm, tasting the original recipes, drinking your favorite, and meeting the people.

Since it's intriguing origin, abandonment, rediscovery and renovation to the present day ambiance and camaraderie of the clients and the owners, La Ruina has a story that is still being written. Just visit and place yourself into this chapter.

Open Thursdays through Sundays and most Holidays'. Hours are 12 noon until late at night, Kitchen closes 10PM, bar makes 'last call' accordingly. Breakfasts by reservations of 20+ (Banana pancake special and other pre-planned menus).

Thursday Game nights (Poker & Darts). Watch for our schedule or call ahead.

Rock & Latin 'Live Music', may be changing to Saturday to include entertaining Panamanian clients that can arrive after their workweek. For now, Expats come Fridays for music.

Saturday and Sunday mix of clients include the Expats, city weekenders and vacationers, tourists, local business people and occasionally Panama's politicians and stars.
